Back to work?
You may have seen the CNN roundup of the re-start of the 50 states and their respective economies. What is lacking are statements as to when the government organizations themselves will begin to approach “normal” again and when an in-person meeting with a CIO or other key official can take place. While many CIOs have been working at their offices, at least some days, most of their staff have been telecommuting for nearly 3 months. We have heard from some State of California insiders that August may see a return to the office but many departments are planning on January of 2021. The actual answer will likely be different than what we hear now so it’s safe to say that the re-start is still a topic of discussion for government as well as industry. What are you hearing?
